Today's second drag race is between the new BMW X5M and the BMW M5 Touring. The new BMW X5M is powered by a V8 engine developing 555 hp and the official numbers say it needs 4.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The BMW M5 Touring, which has been around for a while, hides under it's metal skin a V10 fire-breathing dragon which spits out 507 hp. The BMW M5 Touring requires 4.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h. These are the official figures. The real life test might spawn unexpected results.
