Clarion has released the details of their latest in-car audio system - the Clarion FB278RBT. The Clarion FB278RBT includes built-in Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP and AVRCP) and Bluetooth Handsfree calling technology (HFP and HSP). The Clarion FB278RBT also features a 728 variable color display, 18 FM station presets via an RDS-EON tuner, an AUX in as well as 2-channel audio pre-out and 4 x 50 watts of amplification.

With the introduction of the highly stylised FB278RBT audio head unit, Clarion is able to deliver audio streaming and playback without the need for any mechanical parts.
The next generation of audio source units, the FB278RBT benefits from built-in Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP & AVRCP) and Bluetooth Handsfree calling technology (HFP & HSP) whilst MP3 (including ID3-TAG display) playback is made possible thanks to an SD card slot behind the flip-down control panel.
The bold, futuristic looks of the FB278RBT are created through a 728 variable colour display, whilst indirect lighting on to the unit makes each of the four, white acrylic arched buttons either side of the central rotary volume control, appear to float like fins…creating the ‘Metal Shark’ design.
Also featuring 18 FM station presets via an RDS-EON tuner, an AUX in as well as 2-channel audio pre-out and 4 x 50 watts of amplification, the FB278RBT has a typical selling price of just £149.00 via its appointed dealers across the UK, or £134.00 for members of Club Clarion.
