Coulthard gets speeding ticket during demonstration

Some government officials are just have too narrow views when it comes to motorsport event. This was the case in India during a Red Bull F1 demonstration when F1 racing driver David Coulthard got a ticket for speeding. He was caught doing 162mph in 62mph and 31mph zones while driving his F1 race car and we have to say it again, during a demonstration. He was caught doing five times the speed limit while he was crossing over the Rajiv Ghandi Sea Link in Mumbai.

Apparently, the government officials warned him about exceeding the speed limit, but he went and do it anyway. Coulthard was not actually the person who got fined, but the demonstration officials, who had to pay 20,000 GBP.

The Indian officials said that, although their thankful to Coulthard for making them known around the world, they have punish him for speeding.
