James Glickenhaus has released the final renderings of his one-off Ferrari P4/5 Competizione. The Ferrari P4/5 Competizione was commissioned over four years ago and it looks like it’s finally going to be ready to take the tracks by storm.

The Ferrari P4/5 Competizione is a modern interpretation of the original racing car and it has been developed primarily for track duty. According to its owner, the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione will have its racing debut at the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hour race.

The Ferrari P4/5 Competizione is built on a chassis from an F430 Scuderia and is powered by the same winning engine that's also under the

hood of the F430 GT2 ALMS race car. For better handling, the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione also borrowed the suspension system and setup of the ALMS racer.

The full specs and details of the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione will probably never be released, but it will be enough if we'll get the chance to see it race. According to James Glickenhaus, the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione will race the 'Green Hell' 24 hour event under the colors of the U.S. flag.
