In their latest comparison video, the journalists from Autocar are bringing the American muscle power wars to Britain by putting the Ford Mustang Boss 302 against the Chevrolet Camaro SS. Of course, a comparison test between two muscle car icons must include a drag race. The Boss Mustang managed to run the 1 mile in 33.11 seconds at 150,16 mph, while Chevy's Camaro SS managed a slower 35.54 seconds at 146.32 mph. Ford's Mustang Boss took the lead from the start, with a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 5 seconds. The Camaro SS registered a slower 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.44 seconds.

The Ford Mustang Boss 302 is powered by a 5.0-liter dual-overhead camshaft V8 engine with an output of 440 hp and 380 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Chevrolet Camaro SS is powered by a larger, 6.2-liter V8, developing 400 hp and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. So, Ford's Boss has more power and Chevy's SS has the upper hand when it comes to torque output.
