Wheels
New R8 19" deep dish alloy wheels in Billet Silver. Radical 3-dimensional, rounded triangle design. Wider rear wheels enhance imposing shape and maximise grip – Front 19" x 8", Rear 19" x 9.5". Reverse mounted technology sets new standard in style and road presence. One-piece casting for increased strength and durability. Exclusively designed and developed Bridgestone tyres provide new levels of comfort and grip.

HeadLights and Fog lamps
Ominously shaped 45mm projector fog lamps and 90mm driving lamps (ClubSport R8, GTS) project a brighter, more powerful beam than traditional reflective globes. Gauge Pod
Sports-styled triple gauges housed in centre binnacle display oil temperature (50 – >150 degrees C), oil pressure (0 – >500 kPa) and voltage (8 – >16 Volts). Each gauge features white HSV dials to match driver instrumentation. Red glow illumination enhances night-time visibility.

Sports seats in Graphite mesh with Firefly inserts or optional Onyx leather trim with silver highlights.* Ergonomically enhanced side and rear bolsters.

Contoured foam for greater comfort and lateral support. 4-way/2-way electronic/manual adjustment of front seats. Adjustable lumbar support. Dual zone electronic climate control: driver and front passenger. Intuitive entertainment console/steering wheel menu dials.

Brakes - Bigger is better
There’s a feeling of total confidence knowing that the biggest, most advanced braking system HSV has ever engineered, can at the slightest touch perfectly control such a powerful beast.

Monstrous front and rear brakes have been specifically designed to optimise stopping power and reduce braking distance. In dry conditions, a mere 36 metres is all the distance required to stop from a speed of 100km/h. Front brakes boast 365mm x 32mm ventilated and grooved discs, with aggressive sports-styled 4 piston calipers in Holden Racing Team red with silver logo. Wider rear tyres combine with a bigger rear brake – 350mm x 26mm ventilated and grooved discs and 4 piston rear calipers. New brake pad material and rotor designs have been engineered to evenly distribute force to each brake, providing a safe, responsive feel.

Tail Lights - Jewels in the crown
One look at the bold new rear tail light design

will convince you that seeing really is believing. Featuring European styled twin-intercepting LED rings and inbuilt reflex reflectors, the new E Series tail lights provide maximum visibility in all driving conditions. They combine groundbreaking technology and design previously reserved only for luxury marques. In another Australian first, the rear lights also cleverly incorporate LED turn indicators. Of course great looks are one thing, however this striking design also adds an extra dimension of rear and side vehicle visibility. It’s just another reason why the all new E Series is the undisputed king of the road, leading the way in performance vehicle design and passenger safety.

Vents - A cut above
Aerodynamic in nature, aggressive by design. The unique E Series side venting, with signature ‘E’ shape, cuts a menacing figure. Offered in three variations – colour coded on ClubSport R8, matt black on GTS and premium chrome on Senator Signature – it represents the shape of things to come. An integrated turn signal enhances its shape and provides side profile illumination for safer driving.

Engine Strength in numbers
The all new LS2 6.0 litre Generation 4 V8 engine is a powerhouse of world-class HSV technology. Offering a spirited mix of performance and power, the new LS2 has been re-calibrated via a new intelligent engine control system that extracts even more brute engine power and torque every 6.25 milliseconds. On paper, its figures speak volumes. Delivering an almighty 307kW @ 6000rpm and 550Nm of torque @ 4400rpm, its power puts it in a league of its own. Adding to the arsenal are new tubular 4 into 2 into 1 extractors and an HSV exclusive limited slip final drive ratio of 3.7 (manual) / 3.27 (auto). Engineered for responsiveness via a new 6-speed sequential auto transmission or a new optimised 6-speed manual transmission, every smooth shift puts you further in the driver’s seat. Of course, figures on paper are one thing, however to fully appreciate the pure excitement of the LS2, all you need to do is turn the key.

Featuring a super smooth, short throw and an enhanced first gear ratio that delivers a more dynamic take off, its ease of use belies the advanced engine outputs it controls. Designed to compliment the power of the LS2 V8, the all new HSV 6-speed automatic transmission and 6-speed manual transmission provides an exceptional balance of raw acceleration and fuel economy. The race-bred 6-speed automatic transmission features tip-tronic style gear selecting and adaptive shift control for seamless up-and-down shifting, plus a Sports mode for an even more aggressive performance.
