Walkinshaw Performance revealed this week the W497 supercharger kit for the Holden VF Commodore and the HSV Gen-F. The supercharger kit works with the 6.0-liter V8 engine of the Holden VF Commodore and with the LS3 6.2-liter unit of the HSV Gen-F. Walkinshaw's package for the Holden VF is called the W457, while the one for the HSV Gen-F is called the W497. Both kits include the WP230 supercharger, large high flow injectors, Eaton Twin Vortices 2300 Series (TVS) Gen VI rotors and a water to air intercooler package. Walkinshaw's power kit for the VF Commodore and the Gen-F also includes custom molded heater hoses, cast aluminum coil covers, a cold air intake, a heavy-duty serpentine belt drive system, and other additional parts.

The Walkinshaw Holden VF Commodore and the Walkinshaw HSV Gen-F are both equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system that includes ceramic coated headers and high flow catalytic converters.

The Walkinshaw Holden VF Commodore is rated with an output of 497 kW at 5,560 rpm and 955 Nm of torque at 3,690 rpm. The Walkinshaw HSV Gen-F puts out 457 kW at 5,600 rpm and 780 Nm of torque at 3,700 rpm. Both kits come at the same price of $18,990.
