The British tabloid The Sun reported yesterday that Hamilton crashed a Porsche Carrera GT in Burnham Green, Herts, UK. The driver was not Lewis, but his father Anthony Hamilton, 48, who had his wife as a passenger at the time of the crash.
Hamilton's father lost control of the 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds Porsche Carrera GT, went backwards through a fence and then stopped in a children's playground. One witness reported that he was showing off at the time by revving his engine.
No one was hurt during the show, except the Porsche Carrera GT which has been severely damaged.
