Honda revealed the Crosstour Concept at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. The new version of the Accord crossover will be called simply the Crosstour from now on. Apart from the name change, the 2013 Crosstour Concept also shows a few design changes, which are most visible at the front of the vehicle. Its headlights, front grille and front bumper have all been redesigned for the 2013 Crosstour. The rear of the crossover remains pretty much untouched. Honda will sell the 2013 Crosstour with a choice between two engines, including a revised version of the 3.5-liter, 24-valve, SOHC, i-VTEC V6. The new unit is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and features Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) technology. The entry level Honda Crosstour will be powered by a 2.4-liter, 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC engine, which has an output of 192 hp at 7,000 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm.

The Crosstour 2.5 will come with a 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control.

Honda improved the safety of the Crosstour by adding a few new technologies to its equipment list. These include the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW) systems, and the LaneWatch blind-spot display. Bluetooth / USB connectivity, a hard-drive based navigation system, Pandora internet radio and XM satellite radio will also be present on Honda Crosstour's equipment list.

Honda will announce Crosstour's price list and availability at a later date.
