Honda announced today that it will premiere the Honda Skydeck concept at this year's Tokyo Auto Show. The Honda Skydeck concept is a 6-seater hybrid MPV that's still in a design study phase. The company says the Honda Skydeck is a good example for how the IMA technology can be placed in a range of different cars for different needs.
The engineers have placed the many of the hybrid system components, like the high power battery, in the center tunnel of the Honda Skydeck concept so car will be able to offer the practicality of a conventional MPV. This design of the Honda Skydeck concept offers room for three rows of two seats and a lower center of gravity.
