Hyundai Tiburon replacement

In a recent interview John Krafcik, the boss at Hyundai Motor America, said that a Hyundai Tiburon replacement is to be expected in 2011. The Hyundai Tiburon will be smaller than the current model and less expensive, to attract a larger audience. The Hyundai Tiburon replacement however will not focus on performance, but it will be stylish, fuel efficient and environment friendly. We wouldn't want it to conflict with the interests of the new Genesis coupe now, would we?

The Hyundai Tiburon replacement will house a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine under its bonnet that will transfer the power to the front wheels.

The Hyundai Tiburon replacement will be styled following the design cues of the Veloster concept and will be based on the same platform as the Accent and the Elantra.
