In this video, Rhys Millen from RMR (Rhys Millen Racing) is presenting his Hyundai Genesis Coupe for the 2009 drifting season and presents the scoring rules in this sport. The drivers are judged against each other in a one-on-one "race" in which they have to get as close to the edge of the track as possible with speed and precision.
The RMR Hyundai Genesis Coupe for the 2009 season is powered by the 3.8 liter V6 engine that has been tuned to output 650 hp. To be able to handle twice the standard power, the transmission had to be modified with help from HKS. The RMR Hyundai Genesis Coupe is equipped with a 5-speed sequential gearbox. To lower the w2eight of the car, the hood, trunk, roof, doors and front and rear bumpers are all made from carbon fiber.
