Hyundai revealed today a very special Genesis Coupe, which has been developed by Cosworth for the 2012 SEMA show. The vehicle is known as the Cosworth Genesis Racing Series (CGRS) and it comes with a rather serious performance increase. The 3.8-liter engine of the Cosworth Genesis Coupe develops 389 hp at 6400 rpm and 325 lb.-ft. of torque at 5100 rpm. Unfortunately, Hyundai forgot to mention the car's performance figures. To get the extra power, Cosworth equipped their new Genesis Coupe with an improved thermal management system, a custom intake, a bespoke exhaust system, and a re-mapped ECU. The Cosworth Hyundai Genesis Coupe features a new carbon fiber body kit, which includes a new front bumper with integrated brake ducts, a front splitter, side skirts, and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. The car also has a boot lid spoiler.

At the interior, Cosworth's Genesis Coupe features a new steering wheel, gear knob and pedals, as well as new sports seats. To better handle the extra power, the Cosworth CGRS also received a big-brake system and a performance suspension.
