Hyundai revealed today the updated 2014 Genesis Coupe, which apparently, is already on sale. The 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes with several new features, even though its design is identical to the one of its predecessor. Hyundai's 2014 Genesis Coupe is going to be sold with a choice between two engines. The top of the range Genesis Coupe (2014) is powered by the 3.8-liter GDI V6 engine that develops 348 hp 6,400 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 5,100 rpm. The entry level 2014 Genesis Coupe comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged and intercooled engine that puts out 274 hp at 6,000 rpm and 275 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm. When equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission, the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe (2014) is fitted with an RPM downshift rev-matching system as standard.

The manual gearbox versions of the 2014 Genesis Coupe come with carbon-coated synchronizer rings and Hill-start Assist. The 2.0L version is also fitted with an engine intake sound induction pipe.

The standard equipment list of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe includes fog lights, cruise control, an auto-dimming inside mirror with HomeLink, and heated side mirrors. The 2014 Genesis Coupe R-Sped is equipped with better seat bolsters. There is also an improved navigation system.



As far as safety goes, Hyundai equips the 2014 Genesis Coupe with Automatic Collision Notification, SOS Emergency Assistance, and Enhanced Roadside Assistance.

The 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe's price list starts at $26,350 MSRP for the base model and it goes up to $34,600 MSRP for the 3.8L V6 Ultimate with the 8-Speed SHIFTRONIC gearbox.
