Hyundai announced a new customized Genesis Coupe, which they plan to debut at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe JP Edition was developed in collaboration with tuner John Pangilinan and it comes with quite a few upgrades. As far as performance goes, the JP Edition Hyundai Genesis Coupe is equipped with an AEM cold air intake, ARK Performance exhaust, turbo downpipe, and friction-reducing Lucas Oil. The JP Edition Genesis Coupe is also fitted with KW Variant 3 coilover suspension system, Whiteline sway bars and an ARK strut bar. The Genesis Coupe JP Edition sits on a set of 19-inch MORR VS52 concave mono-forged wheels, Toyo Proxes tires, and Brembo Gran Turismo brakes with 15-inch calipers.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe JP Edition is fitted with an ultra-wide body kit that includes TS Designs metal fender flares designed by Jon Sibal, an APR carbon-fiber splitter, Seibon carbon-fiber side and rear lips and bespoke headlights.

For the interior of the Genesis Coupe JP Edition, Hyundai chose RECARO Cross Sportster seats covered in Katzkin suede, Takata Drift III harnesses and a GoPro Hero 3 video camera. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe JP Edition is also fitted with an Alpine sound system that includes a INE-W927HD head unit, a SPR-60C component 2-way speaker system, two SWR-T10 10-inch thin subwoofers, a MRX-M55 mono power amp and a MRX-F35 4/3/2 channel power amp. The JP Edition's electronics are complete by Scosche components, an Accumat HyperFlex sound deadening system, and a Kinetik power supply and battery. For the Elite Series braided multi-core interconnects, the speaker wire, the amp power kit and the ground distribution block, John Pangilinan turned to EFX for help.
