Hyundai announced today that they're going to premiere a track edition version of the Genesis Coupe R-Spec at the 2012 SEMA show. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track Edition comes with a wide range of performance and visual upgrades, which are going to make it one serious machine. The 3.8-liter, direct-injected engine of the Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track develops 395 hp at 6800 rpm and 340 lb.-ft. of torque at 5400 rpm. The get the extra horsepowers, they installed a new performance intake system, an oil cooler and lightweight pulley kit, all from ARK. The track car also features BTRcc Blueprinting and a •Brian Crower 4.2 stroker kit. The kit includes JE pistons, a BC 4340 crankshaft and connecting rods and ceramic-coated headers.

To strengthen its standard transmission, the Genesis Coupe R-Spec Track receives a carbon plate clutch kit, a dual mass flywheel and a Cusco type RS 1.5/2-way limited-slip differential.

The body kit of Hyundai's Track Edition Genesis Coupe R-Spec includes a carbon fiber hood, a rear diffuser, new rear fenders, a carbon deck lid and a huge rear wing. At the interior, the racecar comes with a Sparco steering wheel and racing seats, and a Cusco 8-point chromoly roll cage. The brakes and suspension system have also been upgraded, with 6-pisotn calibers and a coilover kit.
