According to various sources, Chrysler is planning to offer a new Jeep Pickup Truck which will be put on the market in 2012. Th exact details of the new Jeep Pickup Truck are not known yet, but its production is at this point an almost certainty. The announcement was made by CEO Mike Manley at a secret dealers meeting that took place recently. Mr. Manley also mentioned that the next Jeep Pickup Truck will be designed based on the Gladiator concept unveiled a few years back.
The base platform on which the Jeep Pickup Truck will be built is the 4-door Wrangler. The difference will be that the Jeep Pickup Truck will have only two doors. The space behind the front seats will be used for storage purposes.
Currently, there are no details available regarding the engine and transmission options which will be offered with the new Jeep Pickup Truck.
