Apparently, Lamborghini is going to unveil a Speedster version of the Aventador at the 2012 Geneva auto show. The Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster, which is the vehicle's complete name, should not be mistaken for the roadster version of the model, which is a different supercar. The Aventador Speedster is probably a very limited edition model, or is could be just a concept. We lean towards the second possibility. Judging from these fuzzy images, the Aventador Speedster comes without a roof and without a windscreen. Taking into account the Aventador's top speed, you'll probably need a helmet to drive this one. It also features a new rear wing and possibly a new front spoiler.
We speculate that the Lambo Aventador Speedster is powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine as the regular version. This means it has an output of 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque.
We'll have more detailed information about the Aventador Speedster at the time of its premiere.
