In a recent interview with the German magazine Automobilewoche, Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that his company will throw on the market a mild hybrid by 2015. He said he can easily imagine a Lamborghini hybrid with a small electric motor.
After confirming the 2015 Lamborghini hybrid, Winkelmann said that an all electric car is out of the question, even in the future. The 2015 Lamborghini hybrid is part of a 35 million Euros investment plan over five years to reduce the CO2 emissions level of the company's models.
Winkelmann, however, did not mention whether or not the 2015 Lamborghini hybrid will be based on a current model or on a whole new car.
