Various outlets across the web are reporting today the preliminary Lamborghini LP700-4 specs. Apparently, the Lamborghini LP700-4 will be the Murcielago replacement everyone has been waiting for. Previous speculations called it the Jota, which might become the final name of the car... or not. Apparently, although it can't be seen in the various spy shots available on the web, the Lamborghini LP700-4 will continue to have the company's trademark vertical doors.
Regarding the engine of the Murcielago replacement, the previous rumors have been correct. The Lamborghini LP700-4 will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine developing 700 hp and 680 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The maximum engine speed of the Lamborghini LP700-4 will be at
8250 rpm. The engine of the Lamborghini LP700-4 will be coupled with a 7-speed transmission which will send all those bulls / horses to all four wheels. Yes, it's going to be AWD.
The Lamborghini LP700-4 specs say the new generation of the supercar will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and that it will have a top speed of 350 km/h.
The leaked Lamborghini LP700-4 specs say the Murcielago replacement will have a carbon fiber
monocoque chassis and an F1 style suspension. The Italian supercar manufacturer says the Lamborghini LP700-4 will be 70% more rigid than the current Murcielago and that it will be more than 200 kg lighter.
The Lamborghini LP700-4 price is not known yet, but the Murcielago replacement is expected to be premiered at the Geneva Auto Show next year.
