In the following Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 video the owner/driver of the supercar makes three attempts to reach the maximum speed. The first run ends at 211 mph, the second at 214 mph and the third time he gets at 219 mph which means around 350 km/h.
Yesterday we presented a video of an Audi R8 doing 322 km/h on the German autobahn when the official max speed of the R8 is only 320 km/h. We guess now it's time for the U.S. to do the same since the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 has an official top speed of only 330 km/h.
As much as we love the sound of the Murcielago LP640 passing the camera and the idea of maxing out a supercar this sort of speeds have no
place on public roads. These cars are built especially to run at these incredible speeds, but only on the track and NOT on public roads.
If you have the kind of money to afford a supercar like the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 you could spend a little more on a day at the track to blow off some steam and test the limits of your talent.
