Talking to the British press, Jochen Goller, Mini UK’s general manager, said that they have the MINI Countryman JCW in the works. The MINI Countryman JCW (John Cooper Works) will be a performance version of the recently unveiled crossover. If it will make to production, the MINI Countryman JCW will offer higher levels of power output, a stiffer suspension and a more driving oriented general feel. The MINI Countryman JCW will probably have a new exterior body kit and various interior accents. We're not sure yet if the MINI Countryman JCW will be 2WD or if it will feature the new ALL4 four-wheel-drive system.
As announced by the manufacturer, the most powerful MINI Countryman is powered by a 184 hp and 177 lb-ft 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine.
The MINI Countryman JCW price will probably be above the current top of the range version.
