Previous reports have uncovered the sportier Mini Cooper diesel, called the SD. Today, the Dutch press managed to catch on spy camera the future Mini Clubman SD. Although the Mini Clubman SD info is scarce at the moment, we can speculated the sporty diesel will have the same engine as the Mini Cooper SD. If this will be the case, the Mini Clubman SD will have a 1.6-liter turbodiesel developing around 140 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This will be a quite significant increase in output over the current, most powerful, diesel version of the Mini Clubman.
As far as the exterior design cues go, the Mini Clubman SD will have an SD badge, obviously and a new exhaust system with two tailpipes, left and right.
Other details, including Mini Clubman SD price and full specs will be released at a later date.
