The Nissan 350Z was bred from pure racing DNA. Nemesis UK aims are to take this prestige car way beyond the manufactures original intensions and produce a truly outstanding performance car that will be capable of fast road and track day use.

Read below for a step by step account of their car development programme from date of purchase to its current stage.

Project Aims

The Nissan 350Z convertible has already proven it’s self to be a fresh faced addition to the

350Z line up. Considered to be more of a show than go car which unfortunately ends up being the result when a manufacturer simply cuts it's cars roof of rather than designing a convertible from the outset, to that effect Nemesis UK’s plans were simple and straight cut - To enhance an already stunning looking vehicle with the emphasis on style over performance. Have they achieved this … You make your mind up!

Nemesis UK Project Nissan 350Z Z33 Convertible

They purchased the car already knowing exactly what the plan for this project was and wanted to opt from the outset for a different colour from the norm hence the decision was made to go for Sunset metallic with contrasting Alezan orange full leather seats.

Upon arrival at their bodyshop the car was quickly stripped of it’s factory front and rear PU bumpers including the side skirts and a complete VeilSide Version 3 body kit was fitted in it’s place. Due to the quality of all VeilSide products the kits simply bolted straight on and only needed painting to finish.

With the bodywork now completed their attention then turned to the suspension with the factory shock and sprinks ditched in favour of KW Automotive Version 1 Coilovers and whilst the suspension was being fitted, an all round set of Brembo Racing big brakes replaced the standard configuration.

With the car now sitting more purposefully to the ground and with brakes to match the quality setup of the KW coilovers they went in search of a set of wheels to complete the visual effect and performance handling enhancements. After much consideration we opted for a set of Axis alloy wheels with 20x9.5 inch fronts (245/30xzr20 tyres) and 20x10.5 inch rears (275/30xzr20 tyres). The decision was then taken to colour code the centres in the same Sunset metallic as the bodywork.

Next they turned their attention to the engine and exhaust system and fitted a Magnaflow UK 200cpi performance converters and cat-back closely followed by a K&N Typhoon Cold Air intake system to allow the car to breathe more freely.

Rather than going down the route of fitting a supercharger kit they decided on the obvious option of fitting a Nitrous Express kit with Dual Shark nozzles and Composite 15lb bottle offering a 75bhp shot of Nitrous.

With the interior already exactly as they wanted it all that was to do next to complete the project was to fit a Bose 6 CD head unit and to that effect the project was complete.
