Opel reveals today the Insignia OPC Unlimited special edition that comes with safe driving training. Why would you need that? What's special about Opel's new special edition Insignia OPC is mentioned in its name - Unlimited - meaning it no longer has the top speed limiter. The Unlimited version of Opel's Insignia OPC is able to reach a top speed of 270 km/h as a sedan and with the manual transmission in place.

Apart from being able to reach higher top speeds, the Opel Insignia OPC Unlimited also comes with a range of equipment, including an all-wheel drive system as standard, Brembo brakes, and newly designed tachometer and speedometer. Opel says it can also deliver the Insignia OPC Unlimited with a matt black wrapping.

Although it has a higher top speed than the regular version, the Insignia OPC Unlimited has the same 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 6.0 seconds. Its fuel consumption rangers from 10.6 l/100 km to 11.0 l/100 km while its CO2 emissions level ranges from 249 g/km to 259 g/km, depending on the model.

The Opel Insignia OPC Unlimited goes on sale this month in Europe, at a starting price of 48,605 EUR.
