In this latest Peugeot 508 review video, the journalists from Autocar took the estate version of the new model for a run along some twisty mountain roads. For the purpose of this review, they took the GT version of the Peugeot 508 estate, which features a double wishbone suspension, for better handling.
The Peugeot 508 is available with a range of petrol end siesel engines, among the most powerful being the 1.6 THP with 156 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque and the diesel 2.0 HDi with 204 hp and 338 lb-ft of torque. For better fuel economy and efficiency, the Peugeot 508 is equipped with Start / Stop technology and an EGC, or electronically controlled manual transmission.
The price range for the Peugeot 508 starts at 18,150 GBP and goes up to 28,750 GBP for the top of the range GT HDi 200 model.
What the journalists from Autocar have discovered is that the Peugeot 508 feels good to drive, even though we're not talking about a sports car.
