In one of their latest videos, the British journalists from EVO have launched into battle classic legends - the Porsche 959 and the Ferrari 288 GTO. The Porsche 959 was launched back in 1986 and had a 2847 cc twin-turbocharged flat 6-cylinder engine coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Porsche 959 has some serious performance for that time. It managed to get from 0 to 100 km/g in 3.7 seconds and to 200 km/h in 12.7 seconds. On the other side, the Ferrari 288 GTO was also launched in the 1980s and had a 2.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine. The Ferrari 288 GTO follows the same line of purebred racers as the new generation 599 GTO.
