Renault has announced today the launch of a testing program which will take place on the Italian roads. Renault and A2A will hit the Italian roads with 60 Kangoo Express Z.E. and Renault Fluence ZE units which will be available for testing by consumers and businesses (public and private).
The Renault Fluence ZE and the Kangoo electric vehicles will be available as part of a pilot program for an exclusive monthly rental comparable to that of a diesel car of the same size and performance.
The company will test the Renault Fluence ZE in terms of technology and distribution of charging infrastructures, commercial processes and
offerings, interaction between the charging network and the vehicles, battery management and electric vehicle maintenance. The Renault Fluence ZE will also help test the electricity supply for the vehicles and associated invoicing systems.
Two cities in the Lombardy region, including Milan, will be fitted with 270 charging points.
