Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe Ghawwass

Rolls Royce announced today a special edition version of the Phantom Coupe, called the Ghawwass, which means "diver" in Arabic. The Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe Ghawwass is meant to celebrate the traditional method of collecting pearls from the Bahrain pearl banks. Naturally, the Ghawwass Phantom Coupe comes with a turquoise exterior finish. This color resembles, apparently, the green-blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. Some of the special features of the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe Ghawwass include the pearl veneers and the Dhow sailing boat motif. This motif is included the coachline, headrest embroidery. The same motif is found as a chromed trim part integrated into the aluminum of the passenger panel.

As you know, the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe is powered by a V12 engine that puts out 453 bhp and 720 Nm of torque. Even though Rolls Royce did not specifically mention it, we presume the Ghawwass has the same engine. If this is the case, it means that the Rolls Royce Ghawwass Phantom Coupe is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds and that it can reach a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h). Rolls Royce is going to announce the price of the Ghawwass Phantom Coupe at a later date.
