Rolls Royce presented recently this red and black Wraith, which is inspired by hit TV series Inspector Morse. The Rolls Royce Chief Inspector Morse Wraith comes with a red exterior finish and a black roof. This color scheme matches the one of the Jaguar Mark 2 used in the show. Rolls Royce says that to get this color, they had to use no less than 20 layers of paint. They also mention that it took 18 times longer to paint the Chief Inspector Morse Wraith than it takes for one of the regular cars. The same two-tone color scheme is continued at the interior. The luxury coupe features red and black leather upholstery and piano black wood trim parts. As you can imagine, the Inspector Morse Wraith is a one-off vehicle.

Its power comes from the standard 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which puts out 632 hp and 800 Nm of torque. With this powertrain, the regular Rolls Royce Wraith is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds. Rolls Royce did not disclose the price of the Chief Inspector Morse Wraith.

Inspector Morse aired between 1987 and 2000 and it is one of the most popular detective TV series in Britain. It featured John Thaw as Chief Inspector Morse and Kevin Whately as Detective Sergeant Lewis.
