New Saab 94X info has surfaced the web today as the production version has been spied during testing recently. The Saab 94X was first presented as a concept at the Detroit Auto Show back in 2008 and was supposed to hit the market in 2009. However, the production of the Saab 94X has been delayed until now. With a new owner, the Saab 94X is again on its way to see the light of day as a production model. Saab's SUV could hit showrooms next year, but this is just speculation at the moment.
Earlier info says the Saab 94X will offer a choice between a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, a turbocharged 2.8-litre V6 unit and a 2.9-litre diesel engine. The power outputs of these engines is not known yet.
The Saab 94X will be based on the same platform as the Cadillac SRX and will offer the brand's top of the range technology. Some of the systems offered by the Saab 94X include the night panel, green and black dials and a start/stop button. The Saab 94X price will be announced later, towards the SUV's going on sale date.
