Various websites reported yesterday that seven time F1 Championship winner Michael Schumacher crashed a Ferrari 430 Scuderia during testing on the Nurburgring race track. The crash took place at 250 km/h when the Ferrari 430 Scuderia hit the guardrail.
Today however, Ferrari spokesman Luca Colajanni denied this rumor and said that Schumacher was only a passenger in the 430. The driver that crashed the Ferrari 430 Scuderia was in fact Raffaele de Simone, one of the test drivers.
Luca Colajanni also said that both Schumacher and de Simone escaped unharmed from the crash.
