Seat revealed recently the new Leon Cup Racer, which is meant for customer racing teams. The Seat Leon Cup Racer is able to compete in a wide range of racing series worldwide. It's powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops 330 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The new 2014 Seat Leon Cup is equipped with a six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters that sends the power to the car's front wheels. The Leon Cup Racer comes equipped with an electronically controlled differential lock. Seat can also deliver the Leon Cup Racer with a sequential gearbox and a mechanical differential lock. The Seat Leon Cup Racer is based on the five-door version of the model, but it's 40 cm wider and it comes with 18-inch racing wheels.

Seat gives the Leon Cup Racer a new aerodynamic package, that includes much wider wheel arches with vents for cooling the brakes, front and rear spoilers, a rear diffuser, a new bonnet and a huge rear wing. The Leon Cup Racer is also equipped with a full roll cage, a sport carbon bucket seat with an 8-point harness and a HANS head-protection system. Seat also equips the Leon Cup Racer with four-piston brake calipers, full-LED headlights, and LED rear lights. The Leon Cup comes with a multi-function steering wheel and a high-resolution TFT display.

The DSG version of the Seat Leon Cup Racer is priced at €70,000 (excl. VAT), while the endurance version with the sequential transmission is going to cost you at least €95,000 (also excl. VAT).
