Reuters reports that Spyker owner and banker Alexander Antonov was gunned down last week on the streets of Moscow. He and his security guard are in critical condition in a Russian hospital, as an investigator with the General Prosecutors' Investigative Committee is saying.
The official suspects in this crime are yet to be announced, but the police believes the assassination attempt is related to Spyker Cars owner's professional activities.
We know that not everyone is impressed with the design of the Spyker models, but we're pretty sure this was not the motive. Alexander Antonov is the chairman of the board of the mid-size Konvers banking group.
We hope he gets better.
