The ECU specialists from Superchips launched today a new power kit for the Ford S-MAX, powered by the 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine. Superchips' new ECU remap for the Ford S-MAX works for the models built in March 2010 and onwards, offers a boost of 40 bhp and 67 Nm of torque. The new kit is developed for the new 203 PS 2.0-litre, direct injection, turbocharged Ecoboost engine, which Ford will use in other models too.

The Superchips Ford S-MAX offers 40 hp more at 5648 rpm and a performance increase from 1500 rpm up to the red line. The torque output is increased from 2065 rpm.

Superchips says their new remap for the Ford S-MAX is able to keep the car's factory 35 mpg
