Video: Lamborghini Aventador Review

 »  »  »

The second review of the day comes from the Brits over at EVO Magazine, who tested the Lamborghini Aventador on the race track. They also managed to get a few interesting details regarding the Aventador, from one of Lambo's engineers. In case you're not yet familiar with Lamborghini's replacement for the Murcielago here are some facts. Its power comes from a 6.5-liter V12 engine, which sends 700 horsepowers and 690 Nm of torque to the wheels via a 7 speed ISR transmission. Lamborghini says the Aventador is able to rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and to accelerate up to a top speed of 350 km/h.

Lamborghini will sell you an Aventador at a price starting at 255.000 EUR, or 379.700 USD or

201.900 GBP, depending on the market.

With Lamborghini launching the Aventador, Pagani the Huayra, and McLaren the MP4-12C, 2011 seems to be the year of the supercar. Maybe more will come until the end of this year.
