Daimler has announced today that it will also show a two-wheel concept at this year's Paris auto show - the smart e-scooter. The smart e-scooter has been developed in collaboration with BMW, which will also show its own version of the two-wheel vehicle. The smart e-scooter will be powered by an electric motor integrated in the rear wheel. Naturally, the smart e-scooter is a concept aimed at city life and is part of the company's new urban mobility strategy.

Although losing two wheels, the smart e-scooter will have all the trademark design elements of the German brand, and will come in the same color scheme as the smart fortwo electric car.

It's not clear at the moment whether or not the

smart e-scooter will make it into production, but chances are, you'll be able to buy it in the following years.

We'll have more specific details on the new smart e-scooter concept at the time of the Paris Auto Show.
