One of our finish readers has come up with a rather interesting idea today - smart Golfing Green. As its name suggest, the smart Golfing Green would be aimed at people who need a ride mostly for going to the golf course. Sten-Christian Schauman, our reader, would base the new model on the electric version of the smart. He's golfing needs imply around 150 km of driving, however, the latest version of the electric smart can run for only 115 km on a single charge of the battery.
The smart Golfing Green would have to offer room for just two seats and two sets of golf bags. It could also have a solar panel on the roof of it's based on the coupe.
Christian says he's currently using a Mercedes SLK for his golfing trips and that he would gladly swap it for the smart Golfing Green. No let's see...which of them would Daimler rather sell? an SLK or a smart...? However, Christian would keep the SLK and also buy a smart Golfing Green just for golf.
