The limited edition Smart Fortwo Pink Passion has been launched in UK today and with this occasion, various British celebrities joined their efforts to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign. To help the Breast Cancer Campaign and to celebrate the launch of the Smart Fortwo Pink Passion limited edition, they have created a life-size patchwork smart car which is made entirely of fabric donated by various famous names.

The pink Smart replica will be auctioned-off and all proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Campaign. Daimler will also donate 10,000 GBP from the sales of the Smart Fortwo Pink Passion.

The Breast Cancer Campaign / Smart Fortwo Pink Passion special edition event features such people as Russell Brand, Ryan Giggs, Sara Cox, and Elizabeth Hurley.

A whole host of famous names have joined forces to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign, by creating a life-size patchwork smart car to mark the launch of the limited edition smart fortwo pink passion. The patchwork smart is made entirely of fabric donated by celebrities and will be auctioned-off with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Campaign. smart will also donate £10,000 to the charity from sales of the smart fortwo pink passion.



Over 20 celebrities including Russell Brand, Ryan Giggs, Sara Cox, Elizabeth Hurley, Rachel Stevens, Twiggy Lawson, Joanna Lumley and Jane McDonald have all donated swatches of pink fabric to help create the life-size smart fortwo. The one-off patchwork smart car will be up for auction on eBay. It will be on show at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey throughout October.

Franklin Jacoyange, Corporate Partnership Executive, Breast Cancer Campaign comments: ‘We are delighted to have the support of smart and so many celebrities during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Money raised will help the

charity fund vital research to help us beat breast cancer.’

Fabric donated to create the patchwork smart includes everything from shirts and bras to blankets and babygro’s, with celebrities sending messages of support for the auction:

‘The squares were cut from my youngest daughter’s outgrown vests. I hope with all my heart that a cure for Breast Cancer will be discovered before she reaches womanhood’ – Radio 1 DJ, Sara Cox.
