Daimler revealed recently the new generation 2015 Smart ForTwo and the new 2015 Smart ForFour. Both the new versions of the Smart, the 2015 ForTwo and the 2015 ForFour measure 1.66 m in width and 1.55 m in height. The new Smart ForTwo (2015) measures 1.69 m in length and it has a 1,873 mm wheelbase. The new Smart ForFour (2015) is 3.49 m long and it has a 2,494 mm wheelbase. The new ForTwo (2015) has a 350-liter boot, while the new ForFour (2015) has a 975-liter luggage capacity. Smart equips the new 2015 ForTwo and the ForFour with a 999cc engine that develops 52 kW/71 hp and 91 Nm of torque between 1,000 rpm and 2,850 rpm. Goth the new ForTwo and the ForFour (2015) are going to be available with a 898 cc turbocharged engine that develops 66 kW/90 hp and 135 Nm of torque at 2500 rpm.
After launch, Smart will sell the new 2015 ForTwo and the ForFour with a basic petrol engine rated at 45 kW/60 hp. The engines of the new Smart models are going to be mated to a five-speed manual transmission or a twinamic six-speed dual clutch gearbox.
The equipment list of the 2015 Smart ForTwo and the ForFour includes LED DRLs, an instrument cluster with 3.5 color display, heated seats, and a JBL sound system with DSP amplifiers. Here are the full specifications and details of the new ForTwo and the new ForFour.
