| Believe it or not, this customized Ford Thunderbird has been in the same family for more than 50 years. The 1955 Ford Thunderbird is one of the most appreciated classic muscle cars. When it was modified, the main goals were performance and saving weight. The Thunderbird was Ford's answer to Chevrolet's Corvette. It was powered by a 292 cu in (4.8 L) Y-block V8 engine and had a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer, which was not very common in those days. | |||||
