The new generation 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo was recently spied on the Nurburgring race track in Germany. The prototype is completely covered in camouflage so we can't really say anything about its exterior design. However, it's obvious that the Nismo version of the 2014 GT-R is going to be equipped with a huge rear wing, more aggressive looking front and rear bumpers and a modified diffuser. It's possible that the 2014 Nismo GT-R will come with other aerodynamic modifications too. The future Nissan GT-R Nismo (2014) is going to be powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine as the current model, which is expected to have a horsepower output of 570 bhp. Apparently, with this powertrain, the 2014 Nismo GT-R is going to be able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in an amazing 2 seconds.
The Nismo version of the new GT-R (2014) is going to feature several carbon fiber body parts, which will help reduce its weight. Various interior modifications are expected too. Our sources say that Nismo went to great lengths to reduce the weight of the new GT-R (2014).
The 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo is expected to be revealed at the next Tokyo auto show, which is going to take place in November. The price of the 2014 GT-R Nismo will be announced at a later date.
