The future generation 2014 Porsche 911 GT2 was recently spied while testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife racetrack in Germany. Unfortunately, the 2014 911 GT2 prototype is still wearing some of its camouflage. However, its central exhaust is quite visible. According to our sources, the future Porsche 911 GT2 (2014) is going to be powered by a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that's rated with an output of 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine of the 2014 911 GT2 is going to be mated to a 7-speed double-clutch transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. Early speculations say that the new 911 GT2 (2014) is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a bit more than 3 seconds and that it can reach a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h).
In terms of design, the 2014 Porsche 911 GT2 is going to have wider wheel arches than the regular 911, a wider stance, a rear wing and slightly modified front and rear bumpers.
Expect the 2014 911 GT2 to be equipped with the latest Porsche technology and to delivers improved performance in comparison to tis predecessor.
Apparently, Porsche is planning to unveil the new 911 GT2 (2014) at the next Geneva auto show.
