The Porsche specialists from TECHART have announced that their TECHART GT Street RS Porsche 911 GT2 managed to brake the lap record at the Sachsenring race track during an event organized by AutoBild. The TECHART GT Street RS Porsche 911 GT2 managed to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and to brake from 100 km/h 32,9 meters. As far as the lap time goes, the TECHART GT Street RS Porsche 911 GT2 managed a time of 1:31.94 min which is 4.47 sec better than the previous record.

The TECHART GT Street RS Porsche 911 GT2 is the winner of the Tuner Grand Prix challenge in 2008 and 2009 and all the parts of the upgrade program are certified by the German TUV. The Sachsenring race track measures 3,671 meters.
