The German tuners from mcchip-dkr launched today a new power kit for the Porsche 911 GT2 997. The mcchip Porsche 911 GT2 keeps the factory 3.6-liter turbo engine, which is good for 530 hp and 680 Nm. mcchip's power upgrade for the 911 GT2 includes modified turbochargers, high-performance charge air coolers, Cargraphic 200-cell sport catalysts and manifolds and a silicone Tube Set. The Porsche 911 GT2 power upgrade from mcchip also includes a Stage 3 software re-map developed by KUBATECH.
After mcchip installs the new kit on the Porsche 911 GT2 the car develops 657 hp and 835 Nm. The specialists from KUBATECH say that with this setup, the 911 GTS could output well over 900 Nm, but this would have a negative impact on the derivability of the supercar.
mcchip's power kit for the Porsche 911 GT2 is priced at 23,000 EUR and requires 6 to 8 working days for installation.
