Audi R8 eTron: Record Nurburgring Lap
1,658 Audi announced last month that the electric R8 eTron managed to run a record lap of the famous Nurburgring in just 8:09.099 minutes. Today they released the first video that documents the event. We don't know about you, but the R8 eTron's incredible speed, coupled with the lack of an engine sound looks a bit awkward, and scary. There's definitely something missing here, and that's a part of the usual soundtrack. All you can hear is the wind are the tires squeaking.
