At the beginning of this week, Lexus revealed a hoverboard that, apparently, manages to levitate. It looks like something Marty McFly would use in Back To The Future. Lexus says that their levitating hoverboard uses superconductors, which are cooled using liquid Nitrogen, and permanent magnets to defeat Earth's gravitational pull. Pleeease allow us to have our doubts about this one. The advert presents the hoverboard as being the real deal. However, later Lexus admitted that the spot was filmed in a controlled environment. Don't get us wrong! The hoverboard does actually work, but it works only because there are reverse polarity magnets embedded in the concrete it's hovering over. Lexus says they will conduct future tests, in a controlled environment, in Barcelona, Spain.
