The new generation 2016 Lexus RX had its world debut today at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. The new version of the SVU is going to be available as the 2016 Lexus 350 and as the hybrid 2016 Lexus 450h. According to the official specs, the 2016 Lexus 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that puts out 300 bhp (224 kW). This version of the new Lexus RX (2016) is equipped with rear-wheel-drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 Lexus 450h is also powered by a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine, but it also features an electric motor. Its output is rated at 300 hp too. The equipment list of the new 2016 Lexus RX includes for the first time an adaptive variable suspension (AVS). The AVS reduces body roll, and aims to improved the control and handling of the SUV.
The 2016 Lexus RX 350 and the 450h come equipped with a 12.3-inch screen for the infotainment system, a 60:40 power-folding second row of seats, a retractable panoramic sun roof, and a rear-seat entertainment system with two 11.6-inch screens.
2016 Lexus RX F Sport comes with a distinctive body kit, 20-inch alloys, a TFT Multi Information Display, a sport steering wheel and other bespoke parts.
