Lexus released today a teaser image of the new generation ES (2013), which is going to be unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show next week. As you're probably expecting, Lexus did not disclose any details about the new ES. The 2013 Lexus ES is going to be the sixth generation of the model. According to its manufacturer, it will feature a fresh new exterior design, bearing the brand's signature front grille. The new Lexus ES (2013) also promises to offer a more dynamic driving experience and probably, improved handling. As far as the teaser image is concerned, we can say that the new ES will have LED daytime driving lights, and a completely re-designed front fascia.
Even though the manufacturer does not mention it, we can assume that the interior of the Lexus ES has also been revised. Better quality materials and more appealing styling are to be expected.
In terms of engines, the 2013 Lexus ES is expected to come with either a
2.5-liter V6 (206 hp / 253 Nm) or a more powerful 3.5-liter V6 (306 hp / 375 Nm). We'll have all the details of the fresh new ES (2013) next week.
