Lexus LF LC Concept

The Lexus LF-LC is one of the most dramatic and fascinating concepts presented at the 2013 Detroit auto show. Even though it's currently just a design study, it previews a lot of nice things to come from Lexus. The LF-LC is a hybrid 2+2 sport coupe developed at the carmaker's Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California. Instead of blabbering about its various design elements, which will find their way into the models launched by Lexus in the next 24 months, we'll let the images and video do the talking.

The Lexus LF-LC is built upon a front-engine, rear-wheel architecture and is powered by the carmaker's Advanced Hybrid Drive system.

As far as technology goes, the Lexus LF-LC has plenty of it. From the remote touch-screen device to the twin 12.3-inch LCD screens, the interior of the Lexus LF-LC is designed to offer an intuitive driving experience in a cool ambience. The cockpit is meant to offer a sense of openness and security at the same time.

The controls for the navigation and information displays of the LF-LC concept are integrated into a touch-screen board on the center console. This interface is also used for controlling the audio system and the climate.

If you're required to write a more elaborate text, the LF-LC features a pop-up touch-screen keyboard. Lexus went even further with the touch-screen technology, which is also used for operating the windows, mirrors, and seat adjustments.

The instrument panel of the Lexus LF-LC integrates both analog and digital technology. They integrate the tachometer, speedometer, Eco meter, the fuel gauge and a temperature gauge.
